TV-EDUCATIONAL
THE EDUCATIONAL AUDIOVISUAL OF THE FUTURE: new features and pay-per-action systems of TV Educativa
TSI-020312-2009-53
PROJECT CO-FINANCED BY THE MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY, TOURISM AND COMMERCE WITHIN THE NATIONAL PLAN FOR SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT AND TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION 2008-2011.
Summary
The objective of the project is the development of a set of tools and digital contents that allow the application of training objects and applications to new T-learning programs to new DTT platforms, and through a new PPA (payment per object) business model that guarantee the viability and exploit new business opportunities at all levels of the vertical chain of the television, audiovisual and educational sector.
Educational content and services are framed within the T-Learning paradigm, a distance learning model significantly different from E-learning. T-Learning is interactive and personalized learning through the TV screen, thanks to the technological evolution that is taking place on television. DTT has technological resources that will allow viewers to access, through the remote control, different educational services specially created for this type of medium. These educational services are specified in Objects and Windows of additional information that are available for the user to deepen on a particular topic of interest, or for the development of the skills in the "doing" of the student.
It can be concluded, without a doubt, that the potential of distance education through DTT is enormous, and that its exit to the market is a priority for television networks in Spain and around the world.
